ALLISON HURST

Hi, I'm Allison Hurst, the Well Balanced RD. I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today’s crazy world; your mindset, activity, and over-all wellness. All of these elements brought me to start Well Balanced.

I'm a graduate from Radford University and have my Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. I completed my dietetic internship program with Virginia Tech, and became credentialed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in June. 


As I've grown through my journey of health and wellness, I've realized how important every aspect of life is a balancing act. What you eat, how much you eat, how you think, how much you exercise, and so much more are all things we learn to balance in our life. â€‹

I know that there is never a "one-size-fits-all" when it comes to health. That is why I created this practice, resources, and services- to help you find your balance in life. With an overwhelming amount of information in the world, it can be so difficult to determine what is credible and reliable information. I would love to help figure out what works best for you in an evidence-based, holistic approach to a well balanced life.
